The paster

Press ⌃⌥V and your last grabs and words appear beside the pointer, newest first. Press a number to paste one.

Hold ⇧ to paste a grab’s path instead, for a terminal. Hold ⌥ for Markdown, for an issue or a doc.

Behind it

What fab does with it.

  1. Gather

Grabs from the tray and History, words from History.

  2. Pick

A number, with ⇧ or ⌥ for the form you want.

  3. Paste

Into the app you’re in. A picture, a file, a path or Markdown.

Worth knowing

The small things it gets right.

  • Words pasted with ⇧ become a note file, and you get its path.
  • It closes on esc, a click elsewhere, or after 30 seconds.

Try it on your own Mac.
